About: Annual event where selected NGOs from Kolkata get trained for a chance to pitch to a room full of prospective donors. The 1st 3 editions have raised close to 15 CR in a single evening.

Status: I was part of founding team along with Mr. Harsh Hada in 1st edition and part of Core Committee in 2nd edition, after which I have taken a step. It is still being run today with 3 completed editions as of 2025.

More details:

• Started by hosting a fundraising evening for an NGO from Kolkata called Future Hope. Aim was to raise 20 lakhs, ended up raising 1.2 CR. This was in 2022.
• Formalized this event by calling it SETU, with 4 NGOs pitching after rigorous selection and training to a room full of curated donors. The 2nd and 3rd edition raised 6 CR and and 6.5 CR in a single evening.
